A new two-story custom home now under construction in Westbury. Brick gables, an arched front entry and a standing-seam metal awning over the garage give it a timeless look, and underneath it is built the Select Build way: raised off the ground, sealed tight and engineered for Houston heat, humidity and storms.

What We Are Building
- Two-story home with brick gables, siding accents, an arched double front door and a standing-seam metal awning
- Raised crawlspace foundation on concrete block stem walls and piers, so the living floor sits well above the yard
- Engineered floor and roof trusses and steep, wind-ready roof framing
- ZIP System sheathing with every seam taped, creating a continuous air and water barrier
- Door and window openings flashed before anything is installed
- Synthetic roof underlayment under the finished roof
- Structural engineering reviewed for Houston windstorm requirements, and a site plan approved for rooftop solar
Built for Houston
A raised crawlspace keeps the home up and out of the way of standing water after heavy rain, and gives plumbing and mechanical lines a protected, accessible space below the floor. The taped ZIP System walls, flashed openings and roof underlayment work together as one weather-tight shell before the brick and siding ever go on. It is the kind of work that disappears behind the finishes, and it is why the finished home will stay beautiful for decades. Learn more about the Select Build Standard and how we build to endure.
