Select Build Construction is a boutique custom home builder and renovation firm based in Bellaire. We build and remodel a small number of high-end homes each year, and we build every one of them for the place it has to stand: Houston, with its hurricanes, heavy rain, flooding, humidity and summer heat.
Beautiful finishes are the part everyone sees. What sets our homes apart is what happens before the walls close: how water is kept out, how the structure handles wind, and how the mechanical systems keep a house dry and comfortable in August. Our founder, Devin, is a mechanical engineer, and that shows in every home we build.
Every Select Build home is planned for the Houston climate: elevation and drainage from day one, roof and window details made for high winds, tight air sealing, properly sized HVAC and dehumidification, and waterproofing in every wet area. That is how a home stands up to hurricane season, heavy rain and humidity for decades.
